SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance 


California and regional egg prices are 6 cents higher for Jumbo, 3.5 
to 6 cents higher for Extra Large, 2 to 6 cents higher for Large, 1.5 
to 10 cents higher for Medium, and 10 cents higher for Small.  Prices 
in New York are 2 cent higher for Extra Large, Large, and Medium.  The 
undertone is fully steady to firm.  Supplies are mixed, mostly moderate.  
Offerings are light to moderate.  Retail demand is moderate to good.  
Food service demand varies by location, generally moderate to at times
light.  Market activity is active in California; elsewhere is moderate.  
Breaking stock offerings are light for usually normal breaking schedules.  
Light hen offerings are moderate for a light and unaggressive demand.
